Blood Prophecy is the last book in the Drake Chronicles by Alyxandra Harvey and it starts right where Blood Moon left off. Solange is being mind controlled by Viola who is actually the very first Drake daughter making Solange the second. Solange is stuck in Viola's spirit castle while Viola controls Solange's body. And one thing we know about Solange is that while she may be stuck in a castle, she is not a damsel in distress. She's Helena Drake's daughter and she's going to fight Viola to reclaim her body and save her family from Viola's wrath.

In the meantime Lucy and Kieran are trying to figure out how to save Solange. Lucy thinks Solange is being possessed and she's right but Lucy and Kieran don't know how to get Viola out of Solange's body. The Drakes aren't doing much better. They don't know what's happening to Solange and while Nicholas is being their eyes and ears so they know what Solange is up too they don't really have a plan to save her.

There is so much stuff happening in this book it's hard to keep it all straight. Solange does manage to win the fight against Viola and makes sure Viola will never be able to take control of her body again. It turns out that Hope is not dead as she was assumed to be and she is bringing the fight to the Drakes and their allies. She is also the one who had Nicholas tortured.

A big battle issues and the sides are drawn and there are casualties, Tyson and Hunter's grandfather dies which made me hurt for Lucy since Tyson was her tutor and her friend and for Hunter since her grandfather was all she had for family. But she still has Kieran and Quinn so she's not all alone.

The book ends with Lucy's parents holding their annual bonfire and all the couples are there. Solange finally managed her parents to let her travel to other vampire communities with her Aunt Hyacinth and some of her brothers and Lucy wants her to email her everyday. Solange, Lucy, Nicholas and Kieran make a pact that no matter where they are or what they're doing they'll all meet up every year for the Longest Night celebration.

There is some romance and we get to see moments between all the Drake couples which I was very happy to see as this is the last book and all the couples should be in attendance.(Solange/Kieran, Lucy/Nicholas, Isabeau/Logan, Hunter/Quinn and Chrisabel/Conner)

I had a hard time writing this review. This is the last book in the Drake Chronicles and I'm sad to see it end. Although Harvey did say she'd love to do a Lucy spin off series that isn't a certainty yet but I hope we'll be able to read the Lucy spin off series someday.

And while I did like Blood Prophecy I didn't love it which shames me to say since it's the final book in a series I'll love and miss. I thought there was too much jumping around. I mean I knew who the narrators were but it still felt like the book jumped around too much and I felt confused as to what was going on at the time with the different narrators.

Still while I may not have loved Blood Prophecy I did like it and I do love the Drake Chronicles all together. It will always be one of my favorite series.

Well it took awhile for me to finish bc i stopped reading for a spell but i finally finished this series. It ended well even though i wished lucy would have somehow been turned. I would and have recomended this series. It is awesome.
This was a thrilling conclusion to a intense and emotional story. This was told by multiple POV 's and even though it could have been confusing it wasn't at all. I liked how it all came together in the end. I did not see any loose ends or anything that would make me not like the ending. Even though we saw Quinn and the other drakes this was really solange's story.

Overall I'm glad I read this and it was worth the read.
I have got to say, I am only about 20% into this book and I have NO problem sitting it down and do something else. I LOVE this series, but this "final" book in this series is really starting out ssssslllllloooooow! Not to mention how it's written. I can't really explain that because it would give something away in the book, but OMG SERIOUSLY?!

I will FORCE myself to finish this book and then I will finish my review. Part 2 of 2 coming soon. (I hope.) )
I happen to really enjoy the Drake Chronicles. If you have read all the other books you have no choice but to read this one. The story picks up just were we left off and doesn't skip a beat. The Drake family and friends are so fascinating and fun even at a time when there world is exploding all around them.This is a must read. My only comments to the negative would be that we need another book to finish off what happened to everyone in their lives. We have to know what happens to Lucy&Nicholas? Does she becomes a vampire? Madame V. what about her? what happens to Solonge? We need another great book!
I just completed this series....DID NOT WANT IT TO END.....I fell in love with ALL the Drake brothers Sebastian, Marcus,Duncan, twins Connor & Quinn, Logan & Nicholas, sister Solange, dad Liam and mother Helena.
Little tough butt kicker Lucy (Lucky) Hamilton is unforgettable. Lots of action, mystery, magic, and romance. My heart aches because this is the last book to the series....there will be some ebooks from time to time. I would recommend this to any and all....I will definitely keep this set in my bookcase to be reread lovingly again and again.

The last book ties everything up nicely but leaves it open to further novels which is as it should be. After all life is that way, you never know what may happen next.

If you have enjoyed the series then you will enjoy this. If you haven't read the series then don't start here. It is worth going back to the beginning and see the characters grow. We remain aware of their youth particularly Lucy who dives into everything without any thought but we also see a growing maturity which is good as this is a series for young people, and the relationships in this are handled really well.

My only complaint is that I didn't get enough Hunter and I absolutely love her.
Isabeau was a rockstar and, while the story focuses on Solange, Lucy, Nicholas and Kieran, most of the characters who've appeared throughout the previous novels are still present and enjoyable, and I liked that Isabeau had such a strong position within the novel and that she didn't become part of the background (kind of like Hunter, although her bits of the story were heartbreaking).
I maybe would've considered narrowing down the Drakes from 7 to 6 because at times I had no idea of who was speaking or what his role was, unless he was Connor, Quinn, Nick or Logan (but that's what happens when you get individual stories for each and not for the rest, I guess).
Still, the story flowed in a dynamic way and I liked how it was resolved. There were a few surprises but the Drake Chronicles doesn't disappoint.
